i went to the masonic temple in philadelphia. it was cool. my favorite room was the egyptian room. it had a sphinx. one day, when i grow up, i want to be an egyptian room. i will have to eat lots of broccoli to do it. i don’t like broccoli, but it is good for you. i like fudge.

as the last post suggested, eli and i went to new york to do some touring.  we also went to philadelphia with pammi.  here are some pics of what we saw.

ocassionally it has people dancing inside of it.  the first time i saw one i thought someone had a bad day and was gonna end it all by jumping.

eli, chris, and i also went to the franklin institute, which is the philadelphia equivalent of the museum of science and industry.

hi.  here’s more photos of things that happened this summer.  after i went to philadelphia, me and eli went to new york, as the previous post mentioned.  here’s a brief overview of what we did there.

this is the abercrombie store in new york.  it had a line of people that wrapped around the building, and two pretty boy bouncers.  hilarious.

here’s batman at the toys r us in ny.  it was a couple of weeks before the dark knight actually came out to theaters.

here’s the batmobile.  it wasn’t full size, but a scale model.

and here’s eddie murphy along with some girl who got in the middle of my picture.  this is in times square, where they were hopelessly trying to advertise his film Meet Dave, which i’m sure broke box office records everywhere.

this is in philadelphia.  it was free so i did it.  i learned nothing.  the people who say it’s a lot smaller than you expect are right, but looking back, i think i was expecting something ridiculously humongous.

this is eli.  we rode the chinatown bus to new york.  he’s from texas, and it was his first time to the east coast (basically).

here’s that guy cheezy who i work with.  i’m not sure how you spell his name.  apparently he was spanked on i love new york 2.  one thing is for sure, though: he is, without a doubt or hyperbole, a better person than the 12 greatest people in the world combined.  as this is a recursive description, he is infinitely great.  i love working next to him and not getting beaten up by him for posting drunken pictures of him on the internet.  love, osha.

hey everyone.  i’ve got a few pictures of illinois from when i went downtown to cheesecake factory.  basically my sister hasn’t seen her friends mimi or monica in a long time, so they decided to meet in chicago as there are more things to do there.  i asked to be dragged along, and it’s a good thing i did, because we ended up going to target where i bought some new incredibly cheap headphones to replace the incredibly cheap headphones that broke recently.

we then went over to the cheesecake factory under the hancock building, where we had to avoid falling ice and incredible crowds.  i saw lots of abercrombie clothes.  i saw some hollister clothing, which seem to be carbon copies, or at least in the same spirit (of paying lots of money for no reason).  the day you show me an abercrombie boy/girl who’s not a self-centered dick/airhead is the day i eat my words.  literally.

lifehacker (http://lifehacker.com) is usually pretty interesting, although sometimes they post just to post (with articles like “What’s In Your Pocket Right Now?”).

43folders (http://www.43folders.com) is run by merlin mann, who seems like a reasonably fun guy. he posts intermittently, and seems also to be running out of content, but there are a few gems, like adventures in $40 glasses (http://www.43folders.com/2007/11/29/adventures-40-eyeglasses), and more.

anyway, i also seem to be running out of content. soon i’ll be scanning in images of my train tickets to metuchen. although, there is a party on friday…
